Master Tung’s Hand Three Fire Acupuncture Points 33.04+ 33.05+ 33.06 ( Dao Ma 33-11)
33-11 Dao ma is located on the triple warmer meridian, all three points have the word “fire” 火 “Huo” in their name, explaining their great function in facilitating the ministerial fire. These points can gather and support the ministerial fire which is related to the Triple warmer Shao yang meridian. They can strengthen the Yang and facilitate the movement of qi in the body, especially in the chest since it can balance the pericardium channel.
33.04 is called Huo Chuan 【火串】。The meaning of Chuan 串 is a string or a bunch, it reflects the gathering of fire points located along the hand shao yang channel. This point supports the Shao yang qi pivot, supplements the ministerial fire. Without ministerial fire we can’t create or transform qi.
Tung’s 33.05 acupuncture point is called Huo ling【火陵】, the meaning of “Ling” is a mound or a hill. The name of 33.06 acupuncture point is Huo Shan 【火山】。 “Shan” is a mountain. These two points are an extension of 33.04 point, representing a mound or a mountain of fire energy.
These points represent the ability to support the Ming men fire but also to balance the qi aspect of this heat.
