22.08 【腕顺一】Wan Shun Yi & 22.09 【腕顺二】Wan Shun Er
The name of these points reflects their location, Wan is “wrist”, Shun is “flow” Yi is “one” and Er is “two”.
Location: 22.08 is located on the ulnar side of the fifth metacarpal bone, between the red and white skin, 2.5 cun distal to the wrist joint.
22.09 is located on the ulnar side of the fifth metacarpal bone, between the red and white skin, 1.5 cun distal to the wrist joint.
Needling: 0.5- 1 cun.
Reaction area: Kidney.
Main functions: nourish the kidney, promote urination, open the kidney, relieve pain.
The points are located on the lateral side of the fifth metacarpal. This area reflects the water -kidney zang organ in master Tung’s palm diagnosis. The main idea of these points are that they support the kidney qi/ yin or yang aspect of the body. Therefore we can use them for tinnitus, back pain and bone related diseases.
From a five phases point of view water nourishes wood, this point can be added to treat blurred vision or headache when the kidney and liver are deficient.
From a channel perspective the points are on the small intestine meridian therefore will balance the bladder meridian and will treat ear disorders since small intestine reach this area.
