Master Tung’s Acupuncture Theory Online Course

Master Tung’s acupuncture is a unique and highly effective style of acupuncture that was developed by Master Tung Ching-Chang (1916-1975), a renowned Chinese acupuncturist who was born in Shandong province in northern China. Master Tung’s acupuncture points were a valuable family secret passed down over generations. During the culture revolution, Master Dong fled to Taiwan, settled in Taipei where he opened his clinic and treated hundreds of thousands of patients. Master Tung’s style of acupuncture is known for its simplicity, efficiency, and often rapid results. It differs from traditional Chinese acupuncture in several ways, including point selection, needling techniques, and treatment principles.

Tung’s acupuncture has gained widespread recognition for its efficacy in addressing both acute and chronic conditions. Initially, I was highly impressed by its consistent clinical outcomes, particularly in pain management, where patients often experienced rapid improvement after just a few sessions. As I delved deeper into master Tung style acupuncture methodology, I discovered its significant benefits in treating internal diseases and particularly women’s health issues such as: regulating menstruation, balancing hormones, and addressing fertility conditions.

It’s crucial to note that master Tung’s acupuncture training was transmitted through various apprentices who learned primarily through observation. According to Dr. Chuan ming wang, there was minimal interaction during clinical sessions, with questions and discussions saved for later, after thorough preparation. This approach led to diverse interpretations and insights regarding Master Tung’s theory and practice principles.

Today, there are several approaches for learning and practicing masterTung’s acupuncture points. It’s essential to acknowledge these different perspectives and choose the one that aligns best with your practice.
